INTRODUCTION TO FOUNDATION CLASS 



The foundation class is the basis of everything we are taught in The Super Church as such it is essential to go through these classes as a member of The Super Church because it can make the difference between crawling, walking, and flying.

Usually to help us understand the importance of a solid foundation the analogy of Chinese bamboo tree is used. It tells us about the peculiar life cycle of the Chinese bamboo tree in that when the seeds are planted, they are watered and nourished but after the first year, no sign of life is seen. It continues this way for the next four years i.e. you water, nourish, and weed around the area but nothing still happens. But in the fifth year in the first month the tree grows 7 feet (the height of a tall basketballer) in 4 months it has grown over 40 feet and by 12 months it is about 80 feet tall. Ordinarily, you would expect such a tall tree to be lanky and swayed easily but the reverse is the case. It is extremely tall and strong. The reason for this is that it spent a lot of time developing strong roots, a strong foundation that enables the tree to grow fast and not just fast but strong.

This is what the foundation class does for us as members of the super church. It is the ground in which all other knowledge we acquire is built as we note that almost no service of teaching takes place in the church that is not rooted in these foundations.

It can also be seen as the nursery or kindergarten class in our spiritual education as such it is simplified to enable us clearly understand these basics.

So join me in going through the foundation and basis of what it means to a believer and how to capitalize on this.

The aim of the correspondence course is to provide an avenue for those who are too busy to attend the classes to also have the opportunity to go through this foundation class without losing out on the essence of the class. To further ensure this takes place and online learning course has been created which is what you are attending now. 

The foundation class is made up of four classes and each class has therefore been summarized into four videos you are expected to watch. Each video also has the text format and you can watch both the video and read the text or watch the video alone or read the text alone. 

 At the end of the course you are expected to take an online quiz which determines if you graduate from foundation class and move to membership class. If you score less than 70% you would need to redo the test.

The notion that everyone is a child of God is totally erroneous and there is no midway. I re-iterate at each point in time we are either children of the devil or children of God. The question then is what determines this? The bible tells us in John 1:12 that as many as receive him to them He gave the power to be called the child of God. This means that that is only one criterion to become a child of God and that is to receive Him, give our lives to Christ by following the steps highlighted in our foundation class 101 with regards to receiving salvation. FOUNDATION CLASS PART 3 You can either watch the video alone as it is the full class, read the text alone, or do both.  DOCTRINES OF THE SUPER CHURCH Every society or organization has doctrines they leave by and the church is no different. What we need first to understand is what a doctrine is. A doctrine is defined as - - A recognizable principle of beliefs, teachings, values or instructions adhered to, believed, taught and practiced by a given set of people. Most doctrines are transferrable concepts handed down to us.  It can be likened to traditions handed down from generation to generation in our societies as every society have certain doctrines they live by which didn’t start with the current generation.
